  વર્તમાન સમયમાં આજે ઘણું બધું બદલાઈ રહ્યું છે . સંસ્કાર , સંસ્કૃતિ , વિવેક બધું જ આ સમયે સાથે બદલાઈ રહ્યું છે , સંબંધો માત્ર સ્વાર્થ પૂરતા મર્યાદિત બની ગયા છે . લાગણી અને મમત્વ સંબંધોમાં પહેલાના સમયમાં હતું, એવું આજે ભાગ્ય જ જોવા મળે છે . વ્યવહાર કુશળતા કેળવતા કેળવતા ક્યાંક આપણે આજે નિસ્વાર્થ પ્રેમ ને અવગણી રહ્યા છીએ . એ નિસ્વાર્થ પ્રેમ એટલે માત પિતા તરફથી વહેતુ અવિરત પ્રેમ ઝરણું .   આજે જ્યારે વધતા જતા વૃદ્ધાશ્રમ પર એક નજર કરવામાં આવે , ત્યારે એવું લાગે કે આ ભણતર કઈ દિશામાં જય રહ્યું છે .?   નાનપણથી મોટા થઈ સમાજમાં કંઈક પ્રતિષ્ઠા મેળવી અને લગ્ન કરવા સુધી , માતા-પિતા એ પોતાના પ્રાણથી પણ વધારે પ્રેમ એ સંતાનો ને કરેલ હોય છે . દીકરો હોય કે દીકરી બંને માટે પ્રેમ તો એક સમાન હોય છે . બધું જ પોતાના સંતાનો ઉપર લૂંટાવી દેતા હોય છે . એટલે કદાચ માતા-પિતા નો પૂનમ થી પૂનમ સુધીનો વારો દીકરાઓ વચ્ચે થતો હોય છે . ગુરુવર્ય દેવકૃષ્ણદાસજી સ્વામી આ વાત કહેતા , “ જેની પાસે કૂંચી , એની વાત ઉંચી ” . આ સમાજમાં જો તમારી પાસે ધન સંપત્તિ હશે , તો જ લોકો તમારી પાસે આવશે . એ પછી તમારા પોતાના સંતા
